A Play By Cindy Lou Johnson

As a blizzard rages outside a remote cabin in the wilds of Alaska, Henry Harry (Michael Bils), lies sleeping under a heap of blankets. Suddenly, he is awakened by Rosannah DeLuce (Lisa Keeton), an exhausted stranger who bursts into the cabin dressed in full bridal regalia. Thrown together in the confines of the snowbound cabin, they alternately repel and attract each other as they explore the pain of the past and, in time, consider the possibilities of the present.

 

Unexpected Productions, best known for their weekly Theatresports(tm) antics and a variety of innovative internationally recognized long form shows, presents Cindy Lou Johnson’s Brilliant Traces to the Market Theater as part of its mission of exploring theatrical improvisation. The show is completely scripted, allowing focus to fall on the immediate interaction between the actors and the characters. The choices made are spontaneous and fresh every time, giving the audience a chance to watch a dynamic dance that changes from night to night.
