25 Years of Theatresports!

Seattle Theatresports turns 25 years old this year!

What began as a league playing in front of small crowds at a Chinese restaurant has grown in 25 years into Seattle's most professional, longest running improv show!

On Sunday, June 15th, Unexpected Productions counts down to its midnight anniversary with a Theatresports show, featuring alumni, special guests, and the ensemble which, every weekend, brings Seattle Theatresports to the Market Theater!

Black Eyed Blonde is a full-length, fully improvised show in the style of Film Noir and Pulp Detective stories from the 1940s!

We take several suggestions from the audience, and weave them into a full length improvised play!

Thursdays through June 5th at 8:30pm

Truth is Scarier than Fiction...

Campfire is Seattle's favorite Halloween Improv Show, performed Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30 pm at The Market Theater in Pike Place Market!

The improvisers ask for real-life audience stories of mysterious and unexplained events, and then perform narrated stories around a campfire, exploring the audience's stories with what might or might not be...

Starts in October, and runs through the end of the month. Special show at midnight on Halloween!

In the tradition of movies such as The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, and Armageddon, comes Disaster! A fully improvised disaster show!

This fan favorite takes a disaster from an audience suggestion, and renders it into a fully improvised, spontaneous show! EVERYthing is improvised, and no two shows are ever the same!

Opens Friday, August 23rd!

Ever wonder where the dollar bill you hold in your hand has been? Ever wonder what became of that table you left by the side of the road?

Thread follows the life of an inanimate object, chosen by the audience at the start of the show. UP's ensemble explores the life of the object in a fully improvised show!

Street Corners. Coffee Shops. Airports. We stand beside many strangers in our lives, each with an untold past and an unknown future.

Starting with an audience-suggested moment between two strangers, the improvisers at Unexpected Productions give sometimes-moving and sometimes-hilarious voice to the unspoken lives of those around us, letting the audience discover the now spoken truth of what was once just a random moment in time.

Unexpected Theatre plays every Friday and Saturday evening at 8:30pm, and features a rotating set of unique improv forms.
