MARK SHONE

Mark began studying
improvisation at Unexpected Productions in June 2000. In
addition to his work with the UP players and instructors, he has also
done workshops
with Mark Pinckney, Roberta Maguire, Joe Flaherty, Keith Johnstone, Bob
Dassie,
Christian Swenson, and Chad Carter (Upright Citizens Brigade). In
June 2007, he
participated in UP’s International Festival of Improvisation. He
also did writing
and acting from March 2001 to September 2002 with Elizabeth Westermann
in the sketch comedy troupe All Filler. Mark’s eclectic array of
related accomplishments includes singing at Carnegie Hall, recording a
radio commercial for RC Cola, and being able to recite Keats’ “On First
Looking into Chapman’s Homer” in less time than it takes
a match to burn."
