Leona Partridge studied at Freehold Theatre school in Seattle. Her first
improv teacher, Matt Smith inspired her to use all her skills, singing,
dance, movement, writing in every performance. She has performed in numerous
plays, musicals and independent films.
Leona has been an ensemble member performing with Unexpected Productions
since 1997. She has enjoyed performing in successful long form improv shows
including Improvised Christmas Carol, Black Eyed Blonde, Campfire,
Improvised Shaxspere, and Thalia. She is a main stage Theatresports player.
Leona has attended International Improv Festivals and performed in Atlanta,
Austria, Germany, Orlando, and Canada.
Leona teaches improv in local schools, non-profit, professional and medical
groups. She enjoys working with corporate groups, teaching the tools of
improv that help succeed in the workplace. She has studied with the talented
teachers at UP, in addition to Keith Johnstone, Rachel Rosenthal, Steve
Nakmanovitch, Enrique Pardue, and Avery Schreiber.
Leona has a BS degree in Nursing. She works as RN at Harborview Medical
Center, and juggles her roles as wife, mother, teacher, and performer with
grace.
