Kristen Rau

Kristen earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Southern Oregon
University where she learned to appreciate trees and throw a FAN-tastic
dinner party. She also did a bunch of shows there. Some of which were, *Top
Girls*, *(Poap Joan)*, *On The Verge*, (*Fanny)* and *Big River*,(*Widow
Douglas)* (*Aunt Sally),* but the* *highlight of Kristen's career was when
she played (*The Angel)*  in Tony Kushner's *Angels in America * where
she actually got to fly while wearing 25 lb. wings.

After moving to Seattle, post college, Kristen completed the Improv school
at UP and  joined the ensemble February of 2004..She can regularly be seen
in *Theatresports*,the upcoming *Campfire*, and Sunday night's *Gum Wall
Rally* she has also done runs of *Spoken* and *An Improvised Musical *. She
has also been a participant three years in a row of the *International
Improv Festival* right here in Seattle and once in Edmonton.

From 2005-2007, Kristen might have been seen running around New York
City trying to find herself and her metro card which she was always losing.
While living in New York, she studied at the *Upright Citizens Brigade
Theatre *, was an agent with *Improv Everywhere*

*Rubella*, a Manhattan based improv group. But now she is BACK!  New York
was cool but nothing compares to the most beautiful city in the Country.
That's right, Seattle.. Kristen is also an original member of *Improv
Faction*, a Seattle based Improv group no longer in practice.  Improv is
Miss Kristen's bread n' butter and she hopes that people come to shows and
laugh at her. Or cry, either one is fine and good. She also loves to cook
HUGE meals for people and plans to live in Italy someday where she may do
just that.
