JIM TRACEY
________________________________________________
Jim Tracey has been an actor and musician with Unexpected Productions since
1998 and has performed improv in the Seattle area since 1991. A Theatre Arts
graduate of Western Michigan University, Jim has appeared in several
productions, including the leads in "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are
Dead" and "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris."
In addition, on bass guitar, sax and flute, he has toured nationally and
internationally with such varied artists as Up With People, the Southwest rock
band Gateway, and the Texas-based duo McColl & Tracey, with whom he has
recorded an album and several singles and opened for such performers as Bonnie
Raitt, Ian Matthews, Kenny Rankin and David Bromberg. His composition "You
Depress Me" was a 1984 semifinalist in the American Songwriters
Competition, and he wrote the musical score for the Theatre Collective's 1986
production of "Lysistrata." These days, Jim lives in constant awe of
the onstage improv creations of his fellow performers.
