Cheryl Platz (Ensemble)

Cheryl Platz joined the cast of Unexpected Productions in April 2008. In addition to her love of improv, she’s an avid musical theatre performer who has performed with many local theatres. She also co-stars in and co-writes an MSN video series, “I’d See it If…”

Cheryl got her start in improv while completing her undergraduate degree at Carnegie Mellon University. She was in the cast of the No Parking Players improv troupe and president of CMU’s historic student theatre troupe, Scotch 'n' Soda Theatre.

Her first job in entertainment was perfoming in full costume as various Sesame Street Muppets at Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA. This explains quite a lot about her personality. Other "real" jobs include a stint at Disney World, and 4 yrs in the video game industry producing various Sims games and handheld Disney games.
Nowadays, when she's not performing , Cheryl is a user experience designer for Microsoft, which basically means she's the one trying to make sure you don't want to throw your computer across the room.
